Pinky Promise

I used Artist Loft and Prisma markers for the outer space background surrounded by white gesso acrylic paint. I used white charcoal for the hands and white gel pen for the stars. The hands are a continuous line drawing in which I didn’t pick up the charcoal pencil.

Both pinky promises and stars hold a special meaning to me, and in this piece, I wanted to express the simplicity of a pinky promise. However, through the stars and space background, I wanted to give that promise a deeper meaning and a longevity.
